Christmas in July Cupcakes
Christmas in July is the one chance we get to do the cosy northern-hemisphere version of Christmas — mulled everything, jumpers, and a table that actually looks like the cards. I bake festive cupcakes for July lunches, club nights and community events, styled in traditional reds, greens, plaid and rich chocolate finishes.

A snapshot of the palettes, piping and finishes I bring to seasonal orders like this one.

The one Christmas you can go rich on
Cooler weather means I can use finishes that don't survive December here: taller buttercream, chocolate work, ganache drips and heavier toppers all hold beautifully in July. It's the right time of year for my deeper flavours — chocolate, caramel and red velvet especially.
Winter events and fundraisers
Christmas in July is popular with clubs, community groups and offices looking for a mid-year excuse to gather. I can split boxes by table or group and keep the styling consistent across a large order, so a long table still reads as one set rather than a mix of leftovers.
Available flavours
Choose from my full cupcake menu: White Chocolate, Chocolate, White Choc/Raspberry (also available Gluten Free), Caramel, Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream and Funfetti. Additional flavours are available on request, and splitting a box across two or three flavours usually suits a shared table best.
Sizes and box options
Standard cupcakes come in boxes of 6, 12 or 24, or as larger sets for bigger gatherings. Mini cupcakes stretch a headcount further, and cake pops or cakesicles can be added if you want height and variety across a dessert table.
Gluten Free availability
Gluten Free is available across White Chocolate, Chocolate and White Choc/Raspberry. My home-based studio also handles gluten — please review my Dietary Information before ordering if anyone has a serious gluten intolerance.
How ordering works
Send through your date, numbers, palette and any inspiration. I'll reply with a design proposal and quote, and orders are secured with a deposit once the design is approved. Every request includes a mandatory Dietary Acknowledgement.

Please allow a minimum of 7 days for smaller orders. Larger or fully themed orders benefit from 2–4 weeks' notice, and peak seasonal dates book out earlier than that.

Storage Instructions+
I recommend enjoying your cupcakes on the day you collect or receive them for the freshest flavour and texture. If you need to store them, keep them in their original box or an airtight container at cool room temperature for up to 2 days, away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. Please avoid refrigerating cupcakes unless necessary, as refrigeration can dry out the cake and affect the texture. If the weather is particularly warm, or the product contains a perishable filling or decoration, refrigeration may be required. Store the product in an airtight container and allow it to return to room temperature before serving.
Disclaimer+
Every Sweet Exchange Cakery order is baked-to-order and individually handcrafted to order with care and attention to detail. As each product is handmade, slight variations in colour, piping, decorations and overall design are to be expected. While I will always strive to recreate your chosen design as closely as possible, an exact replica cannot be guaranteed. Decorations may also vary slightly depending on seasonal availability and supplier stock. However, the overall style, colour palette and quality of your order will always be maintained. These small variations are part of the handcrafted nature of my products and make every order beautifully unique. Thank you for supporting my small business. I am honoured to be part of your special celebration.
