How much notice do you need?

Please allow a minimum of 7 days for smaller children's orders. Larger, fully themed or character orders benefit from 2-4 weeks' notice, and peak dates (school holidays, Christmas, Easter) book out earlier.

What flavours are available?

White Chocolate, Chocolate, White Choc/Raspberry (also available Gluten Free), Caramel, Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream and Funfetti. Additional flavours are available on request.

What box sizes can I order?

Children's cupcakes are available in boxes of 6, 12 and 24, plus bulk trays for larger parties. Mini cupcakes, cake pops and cakesicles can be added to build a coordinated party dessert box.

Do you offer Gluten Free?

Accepted Answer

Yes - Gluten Free is available across White Chocolate, Chocolate and White Choc/Raspberry. Our home-based studio also handles gluten, so please review our Dietary Information before ordering if your child has a serious gluten intolerance.

Can you match a specific character or licensed theme?

We design cupcakes inspired by the theme, palette and styling of your child's favourite characters. Any character imagery is printed on edible or acrylic toppers - we don't sculpt licensed character figures.

What extras can I add?

Accepted Answer

Optional extras include a personalised Happy Birthday cookie and custom acrylic toppers with your child's name or age. Both can be added at the request stage.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across Brisbane, the Redlands, Bayside, Logan and the northern Gold Coast from our Redland Bay studio. Pickup is also available by appointment.

How do I place an order?

Storage Instructions

We recommend enjoying your cupcakes on the day you collect or receive them for the freshest flavour and texture.

If you need to store them, keep them in their original box or an airtight container at cool room temperature for up to 2 days, away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.

Please avoid refrigerating cupcakes unless necessary, as refrigeration can dry out the cake and affect the texture.

If the weather is particularly warm, or the product contains a perishable filling or decoration, refrigeration may be required. Store the product in an airtight container and allow it to return to room temperature before serving.

Every Sweet Exchange Cakery order is baked-to-order and individually handcrafted to order with care and attention to detail.

As each product is handmade, slight variations in colour, piping, decorations and overall design are to be expected. While we will always strive to recreate your chosen design as closely as possible, an exact replica cannot be guaranteed.

Decorations may also vary slightly depending on seasonal availability and supplier stock. However, the overall style, colour palette and quality of your order will always be maintained.

These small variations are part of the handcrafted nature of our products and make every order beautifully unique.
